ABOUT DEMOCRATS OF SOUTHERN UTAH
We have restarted the Democrats of Southern Utah (although not quite the same mission) in order to have more opportunities to improve the lives of people in Southern Utah beyond just politics. We believe that our democracy can best communicate our messaging by doing rather than saying. The current level of misinformation has certainly reduced the value of our free speech. We think that our actions will speak louder than words. We will contribute more effectively by bringing the excellent work of the 501(c)3 Women's Democratic Club to Southern Utah. Therefore, the 501(c)4 Washington County Democratic Party can continue to communicate through the political process. Since we plan to communicate through direct action, you can join us in volunteering to make meaningful change in our local community and directly impact the lives of people in our neighborhoods.

We believe that these are our most important areas where action is needed in 2025:
1. IMMIGATION - If you go back over three generations, we are all immigrants. Immigrants continue to be the lifeblood of our economy. The false accusations about immigrants are attempts to divide us and wield power over us. Our actions, on the other hand, are intended to educate and assist immigrants who are here trying to become Americans. They are hard-working, loyal citizens who need our help. They are more law-abiding than average Americans. They are not criminals.

2. POVERTY -
